Founded almost 50 years ago by our current Chairman, Jay Martin, The Juice Plus+ Company has evolved from a small, direct-sales company into a highly successful, multimillion-dollar health and wellness company operating in more than 20 countries today. We are guided in everything we do by our corporate mission of Inspiring Healthy Living Around the World. Our turning point toward a health and wellness focus occurred in 1993. Even at that time, a growing body of scientific evidence was already demonstrating the critical importance of eating more fruits and vegetables to a healthy diet and lifestyle. Yet less than 20% of American adults were consuming the then-recommended minimum of five servings of fruits and vegetables a day – a percentage that has declined even further today. All Juice Plus+ products share a common nutritional philosophy that traces back to our beginnings in 1993 and helps us stand out from the tens of thousands of nutritional products on the market today: an emphasis on the whole food, plant-based nutrition that is still so lacking in our diets today.
